Vayda is an 18 month old, 105lb. Great Dane who is the biggest ball of fun you will meet. She has a great temperament, is not a dominant female and loves to play with everyone and everything. She loves other dogs big and small and is very socialized with cats. She loves to play with toys, but as no surprise, stuffed ones are always more fun to de-stuff.

Great Danes are known for their couch potato demeanor but Vay is no apartment dog. She is still very much a puppy and while she is no where near what you would call "hyper" or "high energy" she doesn't like to lie around all day and will need an active family to take her on walks, to the dog park and preferably have a 4-legged sibling for her to play with.

Vayda currently lives with a lot of high maintenance dogs and she does very well adapting to their needs but she is looking for a home to call her own where she can be spoiled and get all of the attention she deserves.

She is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, HW tested and up to date on flea and heart worm prevention and microchipped. She has been through training classes at PetSmart, and she walks nicely on a leash (for the most part) is house trained and was crate trained but does OK if left alone for reasonable amounts of time.

Vayda is a large breed dog and requires specific needs and understanding. A family with knowledge of the breed, or larger breeds is preferred, as well as a large backyard with a fence. Vayda has never lived with children but does fine with them in public but would just need to be taught what toys were hers, and which were not.  Her DOB is 1/27/2011.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Special Needs: She will need a fenced yard, no small children and a home with expereince with the breed.
