Raisins Toxic to Dogs
Poison control says as few as 7 raisins or grapes could be toxic to a dog. Other foods that can be fatal include onions, chocolate, cocoa, avocadoes and macadamia nuts.
Even if you don't have a dog, you might have friends who do. This information is worth passing on to them.

Keep your new pet friendly
To help keep your new cat or kitten friendly you should comb and brush gently and often, always give lots of attention, belly rubs and play with lots of cat toys. Nails need to be trimmed often - every 10 to 14 days - and one method of helping with this is to hold your cat/kitten and massage feet gently.
Kittens should be fed kitten food until they are at least 6 months old and then check with your vet for further instructions as some kittens are ready for adult food at 6 months while others are not ready until they are older.
Provide plenty of fresh food and water and keep litter boxes clean daily.
Follow the same guidelines above for your new dog or puppy.
Puppies should be fed puppy food until your vet recommends switching them to adult food.
Weight is a major compenent in a pet's overall health so do not over or under feed your dog or cat. Adjust food to maintain a healthy weight.
