Nestle was born in a feral colony but the people caring for the colony started to handle her and her brothers when she was just a few weeks old.  We had asked to take the kittens and try to find them homes when they were only 6 weeks old but a homeless couple living in a van  said they wanted to keep them.  When the kittens were about 10 weeks old, they did allow us to take them and get them fixed.  We tried again to get them to allow us to take the kittens and find a safer place for them to live.  They again refused.  We went back a week later to take another litter of kittens from the colony and discovered that Nestle had a broken leg.  They were told that see needed to see a vet.  They said they did not know what happened to her but they would take her to a vet.  We did a follow up a few days later and they had not gotten her any care.  They finally gave her to us to get her help.  She was looked at by several vets and had x-rays done.  It was determined that she has four broken bones.  She was healing very well on her own and it was decided to not do surgery but to let her continue to heal.  She is one of the sweetest, most loving kittens and although she will have a limp, she most certainly deserves a loving home that will make sure she is never injured again.  They family has since tried to get her back but we could never place her or any cat in such a home life.  They had admitted to us that one of the men had fallen on her.

She is FIV/Leukemia negative, current on vaccines, flea and worm treated and micrchipped.  Her approx. DOB is 5/4/2013.

She will be available for adoption after 8/25/2013.
