Sophie was found in the middle of the road by a family that could not keep her but could not leave her there. She looks very much like a long haired dachshund and is solid black. She is small at 9 lbs. but we are not sure what she is mixed with. She loves to sit on your lap and is very happy being spoiled. She seems to like children and does ok with other dogs and with cats. She is around a year old.
