Poor Smitty was living outside a restaurant in Hocking County and trying to survive on whatever scraps people would give him.  He had an upper respitory infection and it was making him not feel very well along with not have any water source.  Lucky for him a very nice family noticed him and offered him food and decided he could not live there.  They asked us for help and since they were willing to provide him with a place to stay while he received his vet care, we could not say no.  He was very dehydrated and has a severe cauliflower ear but what he lacks in looks, he more then makes up for in his kindness.  He checked out negative for FIV/Leukemia, is flea and worm treated, current on vaccines and microchipped.  The vet thinks he is about 5 years old so we have given him a DOB of 11/15/2006.
