|
Floyd came to us after being dumped at a dog shelter when he weighed less then a pound. We had decided to take him in as a playmate for Evie. They both had to be tested before being allowed to play together. Evie tested negative but Floyd came back with a very faint FIV positive. So the kittens were not allowed to play together but we were hopeful that Floyd's test was just from his mom's antibodies and that when he was re-tested in a few weeks, he would be negative. We were right, Floyd is negative for FIV and Leukemia. He is a very ornery boy and it has been difficult for him being all alone with no other kitties to play with. But now that he is allowed, he is so happy and busy playing with other kitties that he forgets to stop and take a nap. He is current on vaccines, flea and worm treated and microchipped. His approx. DOB is 4/30/2013.
